Wake up. Make breakfast. Do email. Watch a murder. Go to a party for a 5 year old. Laugh with my daughter. See a different angle of that murder. Hear govt officials slander the victim. Play Barbies with my kid. Feed her dinner. Tear up at that victim reading last honors to a vet. Put kid to bed. USA

Both of these killings are absolutely tragic, I will never try and assert otherwise. Any death due to state violence is tragic.

But where was the call for a general strike when it was Black, brown, trans and disabled people? When it was sex workers?

It's PAST time for a general strike.

Minnesota ICE-watchers did this.

By relentlessly documenting ICE/BP/DHS abuses—taking on personal risk to do so—they’ve gotten the horrors into more information streams. Got more people to pay attention, undermined Trump regime lies, and shifted the stances of some Democratic officeholders.

We have been told for nearly 30 years that America needed to tolerate mass shootings because the broad availability of guns would help us defend ourselves from an overreaching federal government. That day has come. The people who said this are supporting the federal agents. Many have joined them.
