Really speaks to the failure of the NDP. This should have been their chance to prove Layton’s Orange Wave wasn’t a fluke, with Trudeau’s and Polievre’s favorability in the toilet. But Singh played ball for too long and the public lost all faith in his ability to effect change.

Hard to think of a more abysmal failure for him than this. He sold what little credibility and good faith the party had left by riding Trudeau’s coattails until the last minute.
