Do WW2 movies hit Americans differently these days? I imagine watching brave souls defeat Nazism makes you feel at least some shame that you’re now run by Nazis?
Thank God for the NCC

Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

What does it say about this country that that the kind of open, rank bigotry Trump administration officials regularly express towards black immigrants apparently has no social cost because of the number of Americans who quietly agree or don't care.

So, if I’m following correctly, Wayne Gretzky played a round of golf with Donald Trump then immediately jetted off to Qatar this weekend?

These images betray the grift - you’ll notice the top picture is completely missing the towers, instead having a parking lot in their place. Whatever this disaster ends up, it won’t be what’s presented here

Gretzky is an unrepentant PoS. Every Canadian brand still hiring this guy is a disgrace and should be avoided
Yes, that is Wayne Gretzky golfing with Trump

@nytimes.com @wsj.com @washingtonpost.com if you aren’t Nazi supporters, any time is the right time to say so
They're not hiding it, folks—straight up neo-Nazi advertising, from the font to the language to the 11 stars for the Confederacy. Then you have the DHS openly using white nationalist language of "remigrate", which means ethnic cleansing.

This is who MAGA is now.

Some Americans take issue with noting they have a Nazi government … if Trump wast so dumb, he’d have his own 14 words by now
Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“

People legitimately believe this idiot is a PM in waiting. The modern conservative is a joke.
NEW: Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he "broke out laughing" when he was told Ottawa and Toronto couldn't fit the giant speed signs the province sent onto their existing polls.

He suggested it was an issue of competence, not the signs. #onpoli #Topoli

Even if this is true - and I’m dubious on this - there will be zero consequences. And the next Republican Nazi government will do it all over again

This helps in making sense of the turnip’s pro -Russia ‘peace’ deal in Ukraine: the US will need allies in its unjust war in Venezuela. The US and Russia, 2 peas in a rotten pod.

The @nytimes.com “peace president” everyone
The US has fought wars for bad reasons, but this would be the first time we fought a war for no reason.
Really looks like the United States is about to launch a regime change war against Venezuela with:

-No casus belli
-No authorization from Congress
-No allies or international support
-No plan for a post-Maduro Venezuela
-No preparation for any sort of stabilization or containment of the fallout

It's so fucking easy to whine about the SYMPTOMS of these problems - WE CAN'T HAVE *ENCAMPMENTS* NEAR DAYCARES, WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN??? - and then your lazy ass solution is "get rid of the encampments", as if that answers the Q: where are these people supposed to go?

Ah, the problem is not that we fail to provide everyone with adequate housing or services for people with addiction, the *real problem* is that the rest of us are forced to see the results of these things, under the label "social decay". Got it.
