Kim: I'm very concerned that if a hurricane hits, are we going to have to be begging Kristi Noem to be able to get off Instagram, to be able to actually go and do her job

Acting Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator David Richardson has not been spotted anywhere near the devastated flood path, nor has he held a news conference or given interviews to reassure people that he is alive. At least 172 other people are also missing.

Further confirmation from ICE HSI officers that they have been told to stop investigating pedophiles, human traffickers, and drug smugglers.

Officers have been told NOT to take new criminal cases so they can instead go round up more random migrants. Morale is plummeting, especially at HSI.

I’m well and truly tired of Jay Bhattacharya talking about the lack of trust in public health. He and his cronies seeded, watered, and fertilized distrust during the pandemic, so they shouldn’t be surprised that it flowered.

The man has no training, education, or experience in public health.

Can we stop using pregnancy-ending falls as plot points? Slipping on a bar of soap isn't enough to cause a miscarriage. Yes, Downton Abbey script writers, you went for the stale trope when you could have given her German Measles and a stillbirth.

From the decision: “All Montanans regardless of gender [...] will not be subject to the prying eyes of others or to governmental snooping or regulation.”

I like that judge.
1. A Montana judge has issued a PI against the bathroom ban in the state. This means it should be blocked for a long time while the hearing goes on.

He ruled that there was no evidence trans people were a threat in bathrooms.

Montana Judge Enjoins Bathroom Ban: “No Evidence” The Ban Prevents Violence
The state claims its anti-trans attacks “protect women.” The judiciary isn’t buying it.

So much for the advantage: "Stark-Chessa's 800 meter time was 2:43, 44 seconds behind the high school girls' record of 1:59. Her 1,600 meter time of 5:57 was over a minute-and-a-half slower than the girls' high school record."
Well done, Miss Feldman.

"the Court must find that SB 99 is a content-based regulation and invidiously discriminates on the basis of viewpoint", The law was on hold since it passed, so this might kill it. The state might appeal to state Supreme court.

Glucose ... eliminate it from your body and your life will be BETTER. Also very, very short.
Going through some of the surgeon general nominee's old tweets and there is the usual antivax light stuff, SEED OILS will kill you fast, and THINK ABOUT YOUR MITOCHONDRIA! But this is just stupid.

It's ALREADY Law: 49 CFR Sec 391.11 requires drivers to "read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on reports and records."
"We're gonna ensure that our truckers, who are the backbone of our policy, are all able to speak English" -- Leavitt says Trump will sign an order demanding that all truckers can speak English

#womeninstem This is cool. While a 1-2 % improvement seems small, when you consider the number of wind turbines we install, it adds up to huge increases in power generated.

We ELIMINATED measles in the US with safe & effective vaccines in 2000.

We are losing that status NOW.

Decades of progress: gone.

People listen to conspiracy theorists over scientists.

Measles killed millions every year before vaccines.

We are heading back that way if y’all don’t do your part.
