“Veritas” is the single best intro to Star Trek I can think of. It makes an amazing case for Lower Decks as a show and the franchise as a whole, but also just stands on its own as a funny episode of a cartoon.
i can’t believe people were trying to dissuade me from starting trek with lower decks because i “wouldn’t understand the references” as if it isn’t super accessible on its own with incredible joke density that all land perfectly on the merit of excellent characterization and absurd plot lmfao

If you’re weird like me and enjoy grindy gacha nonsense but hate the business model, might I suggest Dandy Dungeon? The Switch version is on sale and is rebalanced to be a regular game that still hits that sweet spot of mobile grind. It’s also VERY silly.
