Talking to teams this week, a theme emerged that the Jimmy Butler situation is holding up the trade market some.
One assistant GM told me that his team has a deal basically done, but the other team could be in a four- or five-team Butler trade. So, they have to hold for now. That's slowed things.

Mike Brown has done a bad job this month but he is not the reason this is an 0-5 stretch. If his players literally just executed what he drew up on final plays alone, it’s 2-3 and they’re only one game under .500.
If you want the Kings to fire Mike Brown after this game, fine. You might get your wish.
In my opinion, it would be a disaster for the Kings. And would be the latest example of a coach being labeled the problem instead of his roster or GM, because it's way easier to get rid of 1 guy.
