In god we trust?
This has now replaced 'E Pluribus unum' in the United states where in 1776 out of the many we saw one emerge.
Those thirteen separate states no longer seem the focus of this administration.
It seems to seek to bend god to a created image that is to be trusted.
Sinners or saints.

After an arm full of blood given at a pre op it was suggested I need to refuel.
Never one to ignore a doctor's advice here I am on the harbour wall refuelling.
Possibly should have been healthy.
But I feel so good now.
I can feel bad next week after surgery!

Excellent. In the parents’ spare room tonight, and just discovered both bedside tables are stuffed with copies of every memorial service/funeral they have ever been to.
They’re in their mid-eighties.

Sunset.
Xlendi.
Easing onto another Mediterranean night from a hot sunny day.
A promise from nature that this sunset has been here for centuries & will still be happening for centuries more.
No matter what.
No matter if you or I are here to see it.
The same view for richer or poorer.

Painting each other with virtue paint that's in only one shade is deeply offensive.
Not only a failure to spell Britian, but a failure to apply emotional intelligence to what it means.
The small power hungry group he is loyal to has taken us on a fairground ride for 14 years.

Someone please explain how a person leaves their homeland, walks miles through rough terrain, comes here with $15, doesn’t speak the language, and still builds an empire. Yet some born here, with access to education, healthcare, & every opportunity, can’t get past complaining about how hard life is.
