I like that one. But even better in my eyes is the story I heard that when his memory started to fail him, Kant would write notes on the tablecloth at dinner of the conversational topics so as not to repeat himself.

My fave Kant factoid? Legend has it that Disciplined Kant took the same walk at the same time each day and townsfolk set their clocks by him. In fact, Kant played afternoon billiards with his pal & then fell asleep in an easy chair. Pal's servant would wake him & send him home at same time each day.
