The other night, I asked for $5 to help me get some ice cream, and I promised to make someone's logo all sparkly. The very kind @vestedgames.com answered my call, but.... I didn't make any logo sparkly.

Tsk, tsk, Fidel.

Is it the Twenty-fifth yet?
I don't have a PhD in basic logic, but I'm not sure you can have both of these things at the same time.

The door is open because they already illegally breached it without a warrant. If a girl were hiding in the attic, we got here real quick.
A video of ICE agents conducting door-to-door searches today in Minneapolis

The homeowner requests a warrant repeatedly, is told they don't require one, then is told they're getting it, then the agents storm in anyway

They also point a taser at her to try and disrupt filming

This is why I won't use or invest in GPT or LLM based software. It's inherently centralized. Can one invest in a computer that will allow you to spin up your own model? Yes. But fundamentally, the design of the tech is to great a singular system and charge for access.
Same issue with mesh networks vs internet. The current problem with technology is centralized control of infrastructure without responsive governance systems. We (both as a collective and individually) have to invest in actual hardware to decentralize these systems we rely on.

So is anyone working on building a discord-like using the AT Protocol?

I divested. I also understand that it's hard to do that.
The double whammy of Discord moving towards an IPO and sending out a survey to see what sort of AI garbage they could get away with sends a pretty clear message about where they want to go.

Whelp. Guess I'll never buy another ubisoft title. Any update on where the affected devs are going to land, I'd love to support those companies.

This is a fun caveat. You really only need batteries to provide a supply buffer. With a pure solar electric grid, the buffer ratio would be high because at night there's no sun, but with distributed wind generation, geothermal generation, AND solar, the buffer would be manageable.
We only need as many batteries as we need energy stored to accomplish things that we do.

This may sound like a silly nonsense answer, but you have to understand from a very fundamental place that we only use energy when we do things.

After a little bit of time to relearn linear algebra basis transforms, I realize now the reason it wasn't work is because I was constructing my matrices wrong. Columns, not rows.
Okay, the normals aren't quite right, but they ARE making me a bit optimistic.

Gen AI hypothetical: If Stephen King were to train an LLM exclusively on his own written work (he wouldn't), the resulting model were good enough to generate from (it wouldn't be), he used and edited into a coherent novel, and he disclosed this to his audience. Copyrightable? Ethical?
