This doesn't have South Derbyshire as a peculiar regional dialect. I was condemned to live there for a crime I didn't commit from 1985 to 1992 and I still can't do it and still only partially understand it. My Dad was born and bred in Burton-on-Trent and had trouble understanding my great uncles.

BBC have replied to my complaint, with basically, "We are pretending to be utterly naive and to have never gone near the internet, and so pretending 'biological male' is a completely neutral term, even though the very fact we're talking in terms of neutrality and sides gives the game away, there."

I've tested negative for COVID, but I just woke up at 05.30 because I needed to empty my lungs of snot. Be careful out there. There's something horrible gong around (I know 4 other people I saw on Friday night who've got it) that's very contagious and comes on very quickly.

I feel horribly ill, and it came on really quickly. Just suddenly started with a cough out of nowhere, then rapidly more and more ill. But I've done a COVID test that was negative. (Though it is one of those ones that just does the nostrils, which aren't as good.)

I was FINE this morning. Got back from lunch at work and I suddenly had a cough. Now feel like I can't breathe properly, the insides of my lungs itch and have coughed up some blood. So that's great.
