They’re making themselves into murderers. There is no confusion about whether murdering shipwrecked people is illegal. This exposes a deep monstrous immoral rot throughout the entire US military. Hegseth alone could not have caused this without it. Every last one of them should be held accountable.

Now would be a great time for Obama to publicly apologize for his disastrous failure to hold the Bush war criminals accountable and call for the prosecution of everyone involved in the Trump war crimes. By this logic he would also be liable for prosecution, which is fine.
