already decided that next week's sketch (which actually NEEDS to be a parody) is essentially "what if gohan just shot cell with a gun" and that fake-gohan's name is gonna be "turnip"

for my sketch writing class this week i wrote a parody of the pitt called "the void" where the doctors open up a patient's chest and find nothing there but a vast empty expanse, and it's so stupid but i'm really really proud of the throwaway joke name i gave the patient which is "david navidson"

two hours??? if WaPo's not gonna pay to mail peoples' belongings to them, then they should get to do what i did at MTV News in 2016: show up the next day hungover as shit, spend all afternoon throwing up in the bathroom and steal a playstation 4 (with guitar hero controllers) on the way out

the best thing is how well these folks line up with common high school marching band stereotypes. look at all these white nerds in glasses rounding out the low brass. look at this drummer who's too cool for gloves. they are my family and i love them
brass solidarity band performing “stand by me” in the streets of whittier next to alex pretti’s memorial. the crowd started chanting “the people united will never be defeated” so they incorporated it into the song. i love minneapolis
