Hi, I'm WhiteWulfe! I'm a mini painter that's also into GunPla and scale models. I paint with a combination of acrylics and oils, but have been steadily transitioning to mostly painting with Gamblin and Michael Harding oils.

First three are works in progress, the last is completed.

A gnoll Reaver stands on top of a hill overlooking a nearby valley, awaiting to strike any passers by that happen to have any tasty treats for them to steal with their clawed shield and spear. Model is by Reaper Miniatures, and is cast in metal.

I don't know ay, you go 40 years without painting a miniature figure of a half-skeleton Lemmy and then before you know it you've painted one twice in the space of a month.

Some advice from a couple of years ago that I still think most creative people need to hear --
Don't put down your own work. Plenty of people want to devalue you and the things you Make. Don't help them do it.

We won't comment on how the rest of the hobby room looks. And yes, I said hobby room. No more having to cram everything into the living room, WHOO!

This is a D66 table which is too long to fit into the alt text. It's 36 different things a Guard might say when you pass a stealth check. Here's a selection, anyway: “Huh. Guess it must have been the wind.” “Blimey, the size of the size of the rats ‘round here!” “I must be tired.” “Don’t bother. This place makes all sorts of weird noises.” “You’re hearing things! You ought to lay off the whiskey.” “Guess it was nothing.” “I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that.” “Go on, get out of here!” “I’m not checking it. You check it.” “Come on, who’d try to sneak in here?” “Ugh. Woof, what a weekend that was. New place is an absolute mess of boxes everywhere, but at least the living room is starting to get sorted out. Hoping to get the paint desk set up soon, since I still have so much work to do on Taurus, but that's going to depend on how fast the neck stops hurting.

Desk feels so wrong, since two out of three monitors are now packed up for the upcoming move. Desktop feels so cramped as well. How do people get anything done with just one monitor?

It is often forgotten that I paint #miniatures. Because most of the time when I am done with a batch of them, they immediately go into storage and off the desk.

#Battletech 1st Tyr, Free Rasalhague Republic. Most of them are from a cache of units I received from someone falling out of the hobby.

AT- crane standing next to the Bandai 1:48 AT-ST. It uses the Revel 1:52 AT-AT legs but everything else is scratchbuilt. It’s painted in various shades of grey and is subtly weathered all over. The crane rotates and the cargo is attached with magnets. There are LEDs on the inside and the inside is accessible. A side view of the AT-C facing right. There is a small balcony at the rear (left in the photo) but shock, shock, horror, horror, it has a railing 😱 That’s not very Star Wars is it… A look inside the cockpit in the dark with the LEDs on. The pilot can be seen sitting at his controls but whether he’s actually doing anything is anyone’s guess. A view of the inside looking towards the cockpit. It’s dirty and grubby, just as a workhorse should be. No Imperial inspectors to please here 😬 The squares on the floor are 25mm and can be used for figure movement to keep it easy.

Finished off a Star Wars Visions inspired building base that had been sitting there for far too long.

Japanese building and sci-fi bits from the catalogue plus some scratchbuilt elements 😊

Looking at the building base from the front right. The two story Japanese building has a sci-fi canopy on the front with a little shelf and some goods on it. It’s got a cylinder thingy on the roof that’s connected to a larger sci-fi thingy at the back. Various crates and cylinder thingies festoon the base which is quite verdant. Looking at the left hand side shows the cylinder thingy connected to the larger thingy. The building has a sci-fi thingy panel on the side with some suitable weathering/rust. Back right quarter showing the thingies off to greater effect. The large thingy has a control panel but your guess is as good as mine as to what it does. A low down look at the front better showing the shelf with things on it. A young Jedi on the left prepares to deflect a blaster bolt from the scout trooper on the right. I say prepare because I didn’t bother adding said blaster bolt in post process 😬

Still alive. Most of what energy I have has been focused on packing, and then recovering from said packing. I've been doing my best to not aggravate the neck too much, but I've also been trying to get everything packed a few days before the move so I can get 2-3 recovery days in before said move.

Okay this Gunpla is so cool, the MGSD kits are actually really well done.

Going to panel line this, decal it up, and come December, Wing Zero will be on top of the Christmas tree

延長や幅増しの様な形の変わる改造はしていないですが、股関節の位置を5ミリ程度上げました
元の状態だと股関節が高くて胴体が浮いて見えますが、股関節の位置を上げたことによってドッシリした表情になりました

More work on my cerulean project entry, just a few highlights here and there but I did take the torso of its handle and attached the left arm to make sure all the positioning was correct. I may have jumped the gun though as now I have nowhere to hold.

Finally finished Ibrahim, a leader for my Khaliman warband (for Alkemy, the game).
Not GD worthy but pretty pleased with him since he's a 28mm scale with imperfect sculpt.

It's insanely hard to focus on doing detail painting... While you're absolutely getting into it to Powerman 5000's When World's Collide.

Plus side, it did make me rinse my brush more often...

Space Wolves jump captain warhammer miniature with a replace chest plate, shills and a new wolf helmet. Lots of people think the wolf helmets are silly. I kind of like them and buy them every time they pop up online. Kinda wish GW still sold them tbh.

Finally had the time to cool off and take a group pictures of the entries that won some pins at Golden Demon !

It was my first GD, and I was stressed out of my mind, crippled with imposter syndrome, so I'm over the moon with the results.

Seeing so many beautiful mini in really got me fired up.
