Shiraz Fatehali Sachwani, 48, died in ICE custody last Saturday at Texas Health Huguley Hospital in Fort Worth.

He is the 28th person, that we know of, to die this year in ICE custody.

Green's resolution is simply for publicly threatening to literally execute members of Congress. Either you think that merits impeachment or not but there's no fact-intensive investigation and gathering documents and depositions to be done about it first. There's no cover-up to expose. He said it!

BREAKING:

The Indiana Senate just REJECTED the gerrymandered congressional map that Trump and his allies pressured Republicans to support.

The GOP-controlled chamber voted down the map, 31-19.

I’ve heard from immigration attorneys that clients say ICE guards lay out the WRAP device (essentially a full-body straitjacket) on the tarmac as a threat — “do what we say or you’re getting the WRAP on the whole flight.”

And here’s proof, from Seattle livestream today via @lalabote.bsky.social.

Books about “Asian wife sharing.” Detailed descriptions of orgies. Scenes involving “ladyboys.”

That’s what @dfriedman.bsky.social discovered on a Goodreads page tied to the email address of a top Pentagon official and mentor to Pete Hegseth.

What came next was even wilder.
I asked the Pentagon about Pete Hegseth's mentor. Then the threats started.
Journalism in the second Trump administration gets personal.

Polling: "Do you think the rich have too much political power in the U.S.?"

Yes: 80%
No: 8%

Independent voters are 81%/6% on this; even Trump voters are 68%/18%.

Maybe a political party could lead on this issue.

Last week I reported the Dept of Labor was holding its “Inaugural Secretary's Prayer Service." It took place yesterday and I've gotten disturbing reports, including comments made by right wing Rabbi Yaakov Menken.

This story confirms what I've been told: publicwitness.wordandway.org/p/department...

Literally one of the main reasons why FBI missed Jan6 is bc Bill Barr had the FBI chasing Antifa.

All the Proud Boys had been turned "informants" on Antifa.
You’ve got to assume that any real organised crime or terror groups in the US know the FBI isn’t tracking them as closely as they used to.

That could be very bad indeed – and if so, you can expect to see the clips of congressional testimony like today’s many, many times.
Kinda wild that the organization the FBI considers the biggest domestic threat is ... largely imaginary.

The obvious follow-up question for Jeffries here—and for every Dem in the House, and every Dem running for the House in 2026 in either a primary or the general election—is "so are you committing to launching impeachment proceedings if you take back the House?"

GLASHEEN: I'm familiar with the name

WALKINSHAW: Does the FBI still designate them as an extremist organization? They did during Trump's first term

GLASHEEN: We are in the process right now of changing our, uh, categories for domestic terrorism

The weird thing is that I can't find evidence that Trump has made a threat like this publicly.

It seems like Heritage is either freelancing or else laundering an administration threat in a way that gives Trump plausible deniability.

Again, I think SCOTUS's apparent unwillingness to affirm lower courts when they rule against the Trump admin on *the law* is inadvertently pushing those courts to make explicit findings, instead of letting it slide, when they believe the Trump admin has misrepresented *the facts*.

Main reason for Abrego's release is that there was never an order of removal (believe it or not).
[ICE can re-open his case to get an order of removal, but when it does, Abrego will ask to go to Costa Rica, and will have strong legal argument that govt must try Costa Rica first.]

On top of whatever mental illness causes a person to believe they need a billion dollars, once they accumulate it, the money quickly warps reality and smooths out their brain irreparably. Did a little thread about this.
It's very clear that unlimited wealth causes brain damage. That's not an exaggeration.

It's similar to other unnatural human conditions like solitary confinement (which is widely understood to cause mental deterioration) and other types of sensory deprivation.
