On top of whatever mental illness causes a person to believe they need a billion dollars, once they accumulate it, the money quickly warps reality and smooths out their brain irreparably. Did a little thread about this.
It's very clear that unlimited wealth causes brain damage. That's not an exaggeration.

It's similar to other unnatural human conditions like solitary confinement (which is widely understood to cause mental deterioration) and other types of sensory deprivation.

David Ellison appears to be mortified that CBS/60 Minutes is “going rogue” by covering the news and by keeping him “in the dark” about a segment critical of Trump.

Because Ellison doesn’t realize that’s how it’s supposed to work.

Defense technology procurement and adoption is usually about solving problems. Accomplishing tasks. Meeting current and anticipated future challenges.

Hegseth's AI order is to just use this new tech, without identifying any challenge it helps address, nor how any personnel should actually use it.

A profound insight about the current, specious arguments to twist the meaning of our 14th Amendment beyond recognition.
I saw someone ask elsewhere about what the common law said about the children of Confederates born during during the Civil War.

They were natural born American citizens. Why? Because there is no loyalty test—not for parents, not for children.

Had the Confederates won, children born before 1861…

This is still VERY illegal. The Trump admin says anyone who pays $1 million will be deemed to have "exceptional business ability" and become eligible for an employment-based immigrant visa.

But there's nothing stopping someone from just getting a loan or using parents' money.

JUST IN: Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Snell just confirmed, at the prodding of U.S. Magistrate Judge Keri Holleb Hotaling, that this motion for dismissal followed a "no bill" from a grand jury.

That means the grand jury refused to indict.
U.S. prosecutors in Chicago are dropping another case tied to Operation Midway Blitz, "without prejudice."

It's USA v. Nathan Griffin. Below is the motion, followed by excerpts from the complaint.

The feds don't say why they're dropping it, but they had until today to secure an indictment.

The govt's defense of Trump's birthright citizenship executive order is extremely weak, so why did SCOTUS grant cert? On the blog, I consider: 1) 4 or more Justices actually buy the defense 😱; 2) SCOTUS wants to appear non-partisan by striking it down; or 3) the case is just important. Details 👇
