I've supported my family on $38k a year and I've supported my family on $105k a year and there was actually a substantial difference, both quality and psychologically.
TL;DR: the *actual* poverty line in the US for a family of four with two young children is about $140,000, and there isn't much improvement in quality of life between $40K and $100K.

This idea has me going through my transcripts to see if I'd filled various prerequisites and looking back, my education was all over the place.

I genuinely wonder how many of my political views were influenced by reading Watterson's hardline harangues against the syndicates in assorted books as a kid/teen.
My main problem with dressing up is that everyone comments on it.
Maybe I should have gone from jeans and polos merely to chinos and button downs instead of to jacket and tie.

One of the vice principals at the kids’ school went to Ohio and has been giving me tons of shit this year, O-Hing at me with his hands in the drop off line and such. Drives me nuts. So, I got him a present in preparation for The Game this year. Go Blue!
