Really not into this new trend of using super wide lenses in film. Superman and Frankenstein are great, but they look fish-eyed.

Try our AI assistant to help with this workflow! It’s like magic!
(But also, about a tenth of its output is what we’re calling ‘oopsie doodles’ so instead of writing something you know is true, you’ll have to comb back through pages of bespoke lorem ipsum to double check every detail.)

I get that it’s convenient to not leave your house, and I get that COVID only worsened that…
…but it is actually wild that Amazon has succeeded off the idea of “buy today, get it tomorrow”, when I can just go down the street and have it in fifteen minutes.

Back in ‘03 I was moots with an artist who was doing an entire long-form story webcomic in the style of Egyptian hieroglyphics. Accurate poses and everything.
The creativity you could find in the pre-algorithm internet was truly amazing.
Losing that culture is a modern library of Alexandria.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

“What we’ve created is a language model that predicts and displays the most likely expected result.”
So it’s fancy autocorrect.
“No! Look! It made a joke!”
But isn’t a joke an appropriate thing to put into a conversation?
“…Yes”

I don't care how good the content is, if you use GenAI images for illustration I'm not opening, reading, or sharing your work.
Even beside the disrespect to creators - I don't trust the laziness to stop at the images.

I grew up in a place with a WalkScore of 3.
3.
Out of 100.
If you wanted to head into the city, you had to have someone drive you to the bus stop, then take the bus to the subway, then take the subway in.
lol hell. 🔥HELL🔥

Started watching Bring Her Back and it was so try-hard we turned it off.
Started Suitable Flesh and it felt like a soap opera, so we turned it off.
Decided to not risk a new movie and put on an old fave.
Bro The Void is so fucking good.

Sam watching helplessly as Frodo starts to identify with Gollum, a weird, transparently insane bald freak in a diaper who eats live birds and mutters about murdering Sam and Frodo all the time, was a mood without a strong modern parallel until people started falling for AI.

Strange Darlings is rad as hell
Part erotic thriller, part slasher, part jumbled up jigsaw puzzle.
I loved it. First horror film I’ve watched this October that got me really fired up.
