Everyone talks about the Republican "American Jesus" who loves guns, but there's the equally harmful American Jesus preached by pastors like this, a Jesus who is all hugs and inaction, who judges no one, including violent agents of the state. A Jesus who isn't revolutionary, just wants you to vote.
The only way we protect ourselves from ICE is by winning the midterms.

I think I’m most upset about the realization that no one will be held accountable. She’ll be lied about and dishonored, just like Melissa Hortman. And new horrors will replace this one by next week, requiring our attention, burying this story, demanding more dissociation. Everything is so fucked.
Just saw a picture of stuffed animals in the woman's car and man...I really am struggling to find the words right now. This is all just so unspeakably devastating, and I don't know how we come back from it.

Gonna use this to soapbox for a second (no shade intended to the question, it's solid). I think a LOT of 'writing mistakes' boil down to personal taste. Just speaking for myself, most of my answers to this question would just be personal opinion nitpicks, and that's why I keep them to myself>>>
What mistake do you see writers make that’s not discussed enough? In non-fiction and fiction, I often see famous writers phoning it in with poorly written or researched pieces. This is always so disappointing #writingq #WritingCommunity
