One of the consequences of having lived overseas: I know just how much lower our standard of living is here & how settling for so much less for such higher costs is a choice that we consistently make. It's insane.
(BTW: Hospitals in Beijing are vastly improved since when I left just before Covid.)

Any federal elected official who votes for ICE funding at this point will *never* get a vote from me again. Ever. I don't care who they are, which party they're a member of, or what other things they vote for that I might like.
