They refused to probe a murder. The people with consciences walked out.

🚨 NEW: At least four leaders of the DOJ Civil Rights Division resigned because the section's head, Harmeet Dhillon, decided not to investigate shooting of Renee Good.

I’m working towards digital nomading for 4 months. (Right now it looks like it will work out with a 4 month subletter who is currently in the application & lease process)

Feels like a strange time to go, but I’m sure there will be plenty of resistance work to do 4 months down the line

Just fyi; unmoored inflation expectations would eradicate the value of all your savings—yes, YOU
What can history teach us about what happens when a populist strongman with an idiosyncratic taste for low interest rates undermines central bank independence?

Another US citizen being abducted.

She then escapes, and they nab her again.

How many more of these scenes can we watch?

This isn't immigration control.

It is state-sponsored kidnapping.

I am pleased to announce that I have commandeered my neighbor's home. This home will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by me, to ensure it is used to benefit my neighbor and me! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Would like an app to show which gas stations aren’t selling the stolen Venezuelan oil!
There are so many legal minefields in this post by President Trump that I don’t even know where to start.

For the record, this is $1.8 billion to $3.1 billion worth of oil.

“knowing falsity” 🤥
Question: But the president’s statements that he believed the election was rife with fraud—those are statements protected by the First Amendment, correct?

Smith: Absolutely not. If they are made to target a lawful government function and are made with knowing falsity, then no, they are not.

As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

The Jean Kim Center in Lynnwood, which offers showers and washer-dryers for our unhoused neighbors, was about to close after their building was put on the market. It was recently bought with money from our local philanthropist Rick Steves.
