This is something which was already crystal clear with Ukip ten years ago while they were hyped as the party of the "left behind"

The far right's popularity is a top-down construction

UKIP-like parties only thrive when the mainstream allows them to
In the past few years, much of the coverage and analysis of parties such as UKIP or the Front National has been skewed and hyped, compared to their electoral performance.

Labour lost seats to the Greens and Lib Dems. Reform won seats from the Tories. So, geniuses that they are, Kier Starmer and the muppets around him will go even further right.

So, having not really paid close attention, are you all telling me that most of the seats Reform won came from the Tories, while most that Labour lost went to the Lib Dems & Greens, and, as a result, Labour are going to get even tougher on migration to chase Reform?

Almost like it's a choice.

Could you imagine if the head of the United States healthcare system didn’t believe that HIV caused AIDS?

…And that instead they believed that AIDS is caused by recreational drugs (“poppers”) used by gay people?

Oh wait…🥴

In what is almost a weekly event now, even more progressive legislation has been ditched by the Scottish Government.

They really do seem determined to prove just how timid they can be.

Just saw someone saying they are not in the business of shaming people for their politicial choices these days.

If you aren't in that business, you are part of the problem.

More people need to feel the shame of what they are doing.

Coming soon: Labour responds to the failure of its Nigel Farage tribute act by trying even harder to be a Nigel Farage tribute act whilst closing its eyes to the evidence of where that path led the Tories.

Labour losing one of its safest seats shows what happens when a government cuts disability benefits and winter fuel payments, keeps the two-child benefit cap, and panders to anti-migrant rhetoric:

Reform wins and always will.

This isn’t the change people voted for and it shows.

Labour is handing this country on a silver platter to Reform. People do not vote Labour because they hate immigrants and want Reform-lite. They vote Labour because they want it to make a positive difference to their lives.

You’re telling me that right wing voters that Labour was trying to appeal to voted for a right wing party anyway and left wing voters decided not to vote for Labour because they’re too right wing now? Who could have possibly predicted this.

Ten men have been sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court for grooming and sexually exploiting girls in Greater Manchester.

Guess who’s not talking about this? The usual suspects. It’s dangerous to remain silent about some, and over report others.
