Seriously. Plaintext documents with comments and other review/collaboration features. Support various markup languages with plain and rendered view modes. That's it. That's the whole product. That's all I need. Any productivity suite run by sane people should have already put this out.
Done with all the collaborative document software being Word-like. There are tens of thousands of documents in my org's drive and near-all of them are within markdown/restructured spec. I'm not even saying get rid of the Word-likes you could literally just give Word a markdown mode and I'm happy.
