TRUMP is CHOOSING TO CANCEL FOOD ASSISTANCE. There are literally emergency dollars available to keep SNAP funded.

I've mentioned this before but it bears repeating. Don't leave FSA funds on the table at the end of the year. LOTS of places like homeless shelters etc... would love donations of FSA eligible items. For the past 2 years, I've used left over funds to shop here: fsastore.com - then donate the items.

NEW — An estimated 40 people were taken by federal agents in an overnight raid in South Shore, a predominantly-Black neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side.

A couple who live nearby said they were shocked to see the enormous militarized raid in their community.

It’s important that you read this article. There is no reason this man is being held. It’s the quota. And it’s a human rights violation.
"When ICE grabbed Rodney, he was in the process of receiving new prosthetic legs. The detention centre is refusing to let him have a day pass to go get them, so his health is declining."
Disabled people are particularly vulnerable to abuse under fascism.

ICE has been neglecting the medical needs of detainees.

One disabled immigrant, Rodney Taylor, needs our help.

He's a double amputee who's been in the country since he was two years old. He's being held in solitary:

The gap between teacher pay and other college graduates’ pay is the highest it’s been in over four decades.

Is there a “teacher shortage,” or a shortage of jobs that treat educators with the pay, dignity, and support they deserve?

LLMs reflect the biases in their training sets, so without concerted effort they will always reproduce human biases.
Studies find medical AI tools powered by LLMs have a tendency to not reflect severity of symptoms for women patients & display less "empathy" toward Black and Asian patients. Many Drs are using LLMs & note taking apps to generate transcripts & summaries.

Eighteen hundred men went behind those fences.

Today, only six hundred can be found. That means over 1,200 human beings are simply gone...

Not relocated. Not released. Not deported with paperwork. Just gone.
