Trump, incessantly:
“I’m going to complain about how horrible it is that past Democratic presidents did all sorts of things that I made up because I’m projecting all the things that I have done that I know are wrong, and then I’m going to call for their prosecution even though they have immunity!”
@netflix.com I will cancel my subscription if you don’t stop flooding me with grotesque pharmaceutical commercials. I do not pay money for a subscription to be subjected to this.

Expect a "revolt" among 60 Minutes staff over Bari Weiss pulling the CECOT segment at the last minute, one network insider told me.

Another CBS News reporter added that a Rubicon had been crossed with this decision, which 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi called "political" and not editorial.

In two days, Republican Rep. Thomas Massie has done more to hold Trump accountable for violating the new Epstein transparency law than the House Democratic leadership has done to hold Trump accountable for anything in the last year.

Is Erika Kirk better for CBS ratings than a 60 Minutes investigation into the torture of deported immigrants in a U.S. government-funded prison?
If not, why would CBS business executives tolerate Bari Weiss’s editorial decisions any further?

Garcia: If you are a whistleblower at the FBI, at the DOJ, if you worked hard to put the files together and are seeing your work now being hidden by your own DOJ, contact the oversight committee. We have whistleblower protections.

Bari Weiss is shameless and her whole grift is based on playing to people who either can't or won't think remotely critically.

Don’t forget. Biden’s DoJ was investigating uncharged third parties in the Epstein files up until the last minute. Trump shut down the investigation, sent the files to DC, & fired the prosecutors. They went through them, redacted Trump’s name, then elected not to release them and closed the matter.

Occam's razor.

DOJ hasn't released key documents, including the original 60-count draft indictment of Epstein and the victim statements.

Why?

DOJ really doesn't want us to read them.

Why does DOJ care so much about these?

Because they directly or indirectly implicate Trump.

Thinking today about this sentence:

"Every $100 increase in median rent is associated with a 9 percent increase in the estimated homelessness rate, according to a 2020 report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office."
Inflation is making homelessness worse
Rising housing costs, combined with persistent inflation for basic necessities like gas and food, have left more Americans newly homeless and millions more fearing they’ll soon lose their homes.

Ask your MAGA family...what if Trump's masked immigration officers told you that you had no rights?

What if they assaulted & injured you or your loved ones or coworkers or friends?

Do we have rights? Should we have rights? What is freedom? What rights do you value? Do you care about due process?

FACT CHECK American companies never owned oil or land in Venezuela, and officials didn’t kick them out. Venezuela, following Mexico, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, nationalized its most lucrative sector in 1976 and developed mutually beneficial partnerships with American and other firms

Trump says Venezuela stole U.S. oil, land and assets. Here’s the history.
The government of the oil-rich nation took control of its petroleum industry in 1976, nationalizing hundreds of private businesses and foreign-owned assets.

The DOJ said it removed a Trump photo “because of the women.”
Kristen Welker asked the obvious follow-up: were those women victims?

Blanche couldn’t answer.
Because the explanation wasn’t true.
That’s what a lie looks like when it meets a real question. Protecting pedophiles is evil.

BRENNAN: But the president said 'inflation has stopped.' You'd acknowledge that's an exaggeration?

HASSETT: Inflation being above the target has stopped. Inflation is not zero also. That's fair.

BRENNAN: He did not give those caveats. He just said 'inflation has stopped'

BRENNAN: What are you going to do to force DOJ to comply?

MASSIE: The quickest way and most expeditious way to get justice for these victims is to bring inherent contempt against Pam Bondi. That doesn't require going through the courts. We're drafting that right now.

MASSIE: No. They're flouting the spirit and the letter of the law. It's very troubling the posture that they've taken.

It is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. plans to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It’s a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States.

And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).
