Not to pick on this person bc this is a common belief, but top American income tax rates and capital gains are higher than most European nations. The big difference is most European nations have ~4x our rate of consumption (sales, excise) taxes. How about a national 20% VAT & $2.00 gas taxes per gal

While it’s important to retain a healthy skepticism wrt to Greene, sometimes it does take a person touching the hot stove with both hands to learn. Doesn’t absolve her of helping turn the stove on in the first place.
