When I was essentially abandoned at home when sick with covid, what I'd learned as a sick kid who got pneumonia constantly kept me able to breathe. The exercises I learned then were like muscle memory now, and I think getting increase of oxygen into airways increases covid recovery.
Pulmonary rehabilitation (PR), including breath control exercises, improved lung function in adults w/ Long COVID within 4-8 weeks, according to a new study. While its impact on children w/ Long COVID is unclear, PR is used for other pediatric lung conditions and could be an area for future research
