Are you familiar with the concept of an escalation ladder?

Each side is dominant in different regions of the ladder, and it behooves us to maintain escalation at a level where we are dominant. They are trying to escalate to a rung where they are dominant, and we are refusing them.

Nah we've got plenty of that. The jackboots are pretty pathetic, when we turn up and yell at them and provide very gentle resistance they fold up and flee. The important thing is for us to be everywhere and to bother them constantly.

I'm sure there will be some violence but we can't prevent that.

Yup, I won't take a job that doesn't offer Kaiser because I never want to have to think about keeping track of medical records or finding new doctors or whatever.

Two of my last Three jobs they've had to start offering Kaiser as a condition for me accepting an offer.

Here in California RD makes up about 2/3rds of our diesel consumption, so we've got plenty of data showing that it's a perfect replacement for petrodiesel, and our PNE bros are a bit less than half that.

We'd need plant capacity to make it, but we're shutting down petrorefineries, so...

Okay so here's an idea for what we can do with all the extra soybeans we now have laying about the place: A significant national investment in new Renewable Diesel plants. RD can use soy as a feedstock, and unlike biodiesel (which was too wet) it's a perfect drop-in replacement for petrodiesel.
