RIP CBS ⚰️ - You are dead to me. Not even a question about trump’s pardon for Honduran President and cocaine smuggler, Juan Hernandez on Dec. 1st?? Or any journalistic inquiry to hold his fascist, criminal feet to the fire? He’s not protecting anyone, only making deals for himself/cronies.

👇🎯 Once again, I ask, in good faith & without trying to be overly alarmist, what anyone has seen in the last year to make them believe that the 2026/28 elections will be free, fair, & democratic by any traditional meaning of the words?

Trump sees dollar signs with Venezuelan oil, has designs on other countries, and clearly sees himself as some kind of emperor of the world. I don’t think he has plans to leave in 2028. And he’s showing he’ll use the military however he wants

It is an honor to be one of six New Mexico legislators in 2025 to be given this award by Healthy Climate New Mexico and its 300+ healthcare and public health professionals. I share this award with so many people who have helped me, and for so many people impacted by climate change.

This new war in Venezuela is deeply corrupt.

I will never vote to send someone’s son or daughter to war to make oil executives richer.

Avoiding the news as much as I can. So as diversion watched The Family Stone again. Sad to watch a bit since Diane Keaton is dying from breast cancer in it. But still it's a great fun movie and I needed distraction.

It’s annoying as shit is seeing people who think there must be a coherent reason for why America just snatched the leader of a foreign nation. America doesn’t require coherent reasons to do shit. The government is currently trying to kill the department of education. Coherence has left us long ago

Democrats need to grow a f*cking spine.

No more strongly worded letters. It’s time to draft articles of impeachment.

Halliburton. It's always Halliburton. Nothing good ever came from Duncan, OK, except maybe Ron Howard and family. I should know, I lived in that hellhole for 20 years. [Disclosure: Close relatives were Halliburton employees.]
BREAKING: Just weeks before the military operation in Venezuela to capture Maduro, energy giant Halliburton filed an unusual lawsuit in international court claiming the Venezuelan government owed them damages for U.S. sanctions against the country.

I don’t understand how the first reaction from leadership isn’t “This is an impeachable offense. My colleagues must defund Hegseth and begin drafting articles immediately.”

Like, even if it doesn’t get done, how are you not planting this flag in the ground immediately?

Instead of whatever this is, we should have a government getting lots of new homes and apartments built, lots of clean energy built, lots of high speed rail and transit and bike lanes built, human rights for everyone, economic & healthcare opportunities for all, & innovation that leads the world.

It’d be cool if Dems did maximalist constitutional hardball from the minority and refused all cooperation with Republicans since J6 but at some point you just need to put your political energy somewhere else or stop treating them like they’re persuadable outside a primary challenge.
it is both true that dem leadership statements suck and also true that if you are vomiting in anger over them are you are very definitely reacting to the wrong thing right now.
