Pete Hegseth says he’s going to court-martial me for saying the same exact thing he said 9 years ago. What changed for Pete? Well to start, he spends all day thinking about how he can suck up to Trump. When Trump says jump, he says how high.

I hope someone draws this wonderful story about Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and the power of the arts to help us see things differently, to the attention of our Education Secretary. Do read it, it will lift your spirits.

What a monstrous person.
Megyn Kelly on alleged war crimes: "I really do kind of not only wanna see them killed in the water, whether they're on the boat or in the water, but I'd really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out."

Labour inherited a SEND system on its knees. Too many children let down & parents fighting just to be heard.

Labour committed to making sure parents play a central role in helping shape the future of SEND.

And now they are launching a public engagement campaign to do just that!

Jenrick’s campaign fuels vile far right attacks. At least 6 immigration judges have been subjected to threats since April. At least 2 have been advised to move out of their homes. One judge received a threat saying: “We know which bus your child catches”. observer.co.uk/news/nationa...

The absolute state of the BBC news just now - which seems determined to drag the government down over the budget.

Where was all this attention to minute detail and concern for absolute accuracy when the Tories were lying their way through their chaotic reign for 14 years? It's frankly absurd.

Before the Budget I told you the Chancellor was going to do 3 things with it:

💷 Tacking the cost of living
✂️ Cutting NHS waiting lists
📉 Driving down borrowing and debt

How did I know?

Because if you ignore the media and listen to what the government said, they told us.

And she delivered all 3.

UK politics just completely losing the plot. Labour's pre-budget briefing was inept but if that was a crime more or less every minister for the last 15 years would be causing more trouble for overcrowded prisons.

Similarly OBR's mistake in early publishing was a nothing-burger.

Back in March 2022, while Russia was invading Ukraine, Farage was defending the rights of Russian oligarchs.

Why was he so concerned about their welfare? Is there something we don't know about Farage and Russian oligarchs?
