Same but for any restaurant that uses AI images of their food (including a few well reviewed, high end places in nyc)
I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

When you think a coffee machine ad is actually a camera ad, it’s time to disconnect.

Excellent news.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

i hate that AI has now caused me to question the authenticity of cute animal videos online, which is my primary use of social media. i don't even know if this baby penguin actually wore a beret to go buy a tiny baguette in paris

Anyway, made me laugh.
"Victorian Nationals MP Darren Chester — who urged his party to support net zero — said Senator Canavan was wrong ......"

"Matt Canavan is becoming like the Japanese intelligence officer who refused to accept World War II was over and hid in the Philippines jungle for 30 years," he said."

- Israel then accuses Hamas of "reburying" the remains of a hostage in the rubble it created
- Israel drops 100s of tonnes of bombs on Gaza www.theguardian.com/world/2025/o...
Israeli strikes in Gaza kill at least 104 overnight as ceasefire looks increasingly fragile
