I'll say it. It's an awful film. The story makes no sense. The last half hour is dull. It has only 2 good songs.
And I saw it 10 times at least as a teenager in the 1970s. There was theater in blue-collar suburban Akron (!!) that screened it every weekend, with a troupe.
