1) Young conservative activist held many well-attended events on many college campuses debating left-wing arguments

2) Campuses are rigidly orthodox places that don't allow conservative ideas, let alone open debate

These are contradictory! 1 disproves 2!

Reason has gone out the window with this.

I see the more of the truth is coming out about Rotherham. That no, in fact the police weren't afraid of being racist but were rather knee-deep in the conspiracy, abusing kids, selling drugs and who knows what else. The media more than happy to aid the police and pin the blame on brown people.

The first thing that springs to mind is the deck access estates that became crime-ridden social experiments and had to be knocked. There’s surely a balance to be had here: you’re building communities, not just housing units, otherwise you’re potentially creating a new set of problems.
Apropos that Guardian article: I’ll happily take estates with no community facilities or shops if it means the 21k on the waiting list in my ends have a home. These articles make me want to weep: numbers of homes is what matters. I don’t want affordable housing funds abstracted to other stuff!

If only there was some kind of "government" that can make sure that developers do the necessary stuff on the side! Living in an "affordable" house on an estate with no public transport or shops or doctors makes life less affordable!

this explicitly isn't even about trans women. they already banned all trans women two years ago, as stated in the article. it's about determining which cis women are acceptably female and removing those who aren't.

Have you ever wondered where that grit actually COMES from?
The answer is more magical, beautiful and fascinating than you probably realised.

Just seen this pic of my dog from yesterday afternoon. One of my favourite things about him is, even when he's phenomenally happy — like here, frolicking in the sun and leaves — he just looks incredibly cross. Just a cantankerous little bastard.
