I'm hardly the first person to note this, but it's enormously instructive that our President and his followers saw the message "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE" and understood it, correctly, as an attack on them

- First and foremost, foamies are your friend. If you put them in right those buck-a-pair Macks will go a long way.
- Second, be ready to unass. You hear the chirps? Move perpendicular to the direction the emitter's facing.

ICE is now using LRAD on protestors, if you are going to go out in MN or LA, make sure you bring serious ear protection

There was something about this fellow that I will never forget. The shifting emotions - fear, sadness, disbelief, anger, annoyance. The "I'm too old for this shit, but here we go" attitude, and then he just grabbed a water and disappeared into the fog (aka tear gas and smoke). I hope he's safe & ok.
