It might have mattered less if the people paid to elect Democrats were less innumerate and more curious about how public opinion takes shape. They decided the reporting (and thus opinion) must be true, and that Dems should therefore concede that their own economy sucked. Will never get over it.

I said this on the other site, but I think the media needs to stop using the word “arrested” if a person hasn’t committed any crimes, hasn’t been read Miranda rights, hasn’t been formally charged with anything and their family and lawyer doesn’t know where they are. It’s kidnapping. It’s abduction.
