Would somebody, anybody really please point out that Venezuela can NOT be surrounded by an Armada. It is not an island. I mean yes, the treat is real and should be taken seriously, but could you at least declare war in a way so that your enemies won't roll their eyes about the stupidity? Come on.

We’ve seen almost all of this coming for about 20 years and the response from liberalism and the Democratic Party has essentially come down to “vote harder” and don’t do anything else. I’m not optimistic. Even if Dems somehow win in midterms it seems pyrrhic.

Immer wenn ich Highschool/Teenager Serien ansehe, bin ich zu 100% auf der Seite der Kids und von Eltern und Lehrern gleichermaßen genervt.
Mein erwachsenwerden, kann man getrost als gescheitert bezeichnen.

Vance can’t be this ignorant, can he? WWII was not ended with a negotiation. Germany and Japan were dictatorial and genicidal regimes that had to be crushed by the military might of the US and Russia. FDR did not sit down and negotiate with Hitler.
