This morning ICE attempted to enter into the Ecuadorian consulate on Central Ave but were barred from entering. I spoke with Ambassador Yanez this afternoon and they want to make sure the Ecuadorian community knows it’s still safe to come to the consulate.

This is a legit crazy thing for a Black person to say. I'ma need to see a picture of this person with today's newspaper 'cause it's giving "how do you do fellow kids."
As a non-lawyer, things will go much more smoothly if you just answer the questions and give them your devices. If you've done nothing wrong, there's no crime to charge you with. If they want to fabricate charges, they'll do that regardless of what you say.

Removal of habeas corpus means that the govt can arrest you and indefinitely detain/jail you, without having to demonstrate any legal reason to do so.

My biggest fear is the American electorate will sweep Democrats back into power on the belief/hope/assumption Democrats will then remedy all the damage the previous administration caused, and they will then not actually do any of that. I base this on the last two times exactly this happened
