This may be an unpopular take but why is it the Dems sole responsibility to save America from Trump??

We live in a democracy where the other major party, the judiciary, the media, and (gasp!) our fellow citizens all have agency.

Trump is returning to office. That means we all failed not just Dems
Merry Christmas to everyone...except for the little drummer boy. You know what you did.

Agree that this article is fascinating and worth a read.
Entirely possible that this will end up being total bullshit, but this article detailing the theory that the Black Dahlia and Zodiac murders were done by the same man had me riveted, and while I'm sure there are many holes to pick in it, it does sound convincing on its face. archive.ph/m9mzE

If you’ve ever loved an animal like family, you’ll understand this.

Luna needs urgent surgery so she can eat and live without pain.

I hate asking, but I won’t stay silent while she suffers.

Please help if you can. 💛

No good reason I can see to pull this story.

Seems like all CBS News product is suspect until it's clear that decisions are no longer being made to coddle the Trump Administration and cover up it's wrongdoing.

It’s impossible to overstate what a big deal this is for this legendary Kentucky brand. The last time Jim Beam closed down like this was during Prohibition. Trump’s tariffs & fight with Canada are surely to blame.

NB: When I, a professor of law, profess that an act is unlawful, I am not doing it to inform the lawbreaker, but rather to inform you, the reader.

So the question “what, like you think he cares?” is inapposite. The question is whether *you* care. I think you should, which is why I bother.

In light of the Epstein Blackout, shouldn’t Khanna and Massie demand Johnson call the House back into session? (If he won’t, can they somehow hijack the pro forma session scheduled for Tuesday Dec. 23?) And Senators should make a similar demand of Thune.

The first time I'm seeing this but it rings incredibly true.

What a hollow man our president is. It's almost sad how little he stands for. Seemingly his only interest is self-interest.

Best thing I have read in a while:

"There is no reason to watch this team other than to try to coax state secrets from an enemy combatant. And even then, the Geneva Convention is purposefully vague in its stance on Arizona football." 😂

Two babies were born in New York within a year of each other, soon after WWII.

One, Rob Reiner, lived a life of humanity and achievement. He brought us delight and joy. His memory will be a blessing.

The other, Donald Trump, will be remembered as an embarrassment to our nation.
