Holy crap, that was insane!

I’ve been on a lot of flights to some interesting places doing what I do, but that was BY FAR the most heart pounding landing. St Barth over the hill with some very interesting crosswinds today. Even the seasoned pilot said today was “interesting.”

Ok so there’s a new king of SXM spotting locations, and it’s on the roof of the Sonesta.

Here’s a 🧵 with a few takeoffs and landings, featuring Air France and KLM A330s, United 737 MAX, and JetBlue A321neo.

Trust me, you’ll want to watch the United 737 departure. It has some true Maho Beach stuff.

I’ve eaten sweet potato’s my whole life. It’s my favorite potato.

This was the first time I’ve cut them in half, sprayed EVOO, placed them cut side down, and baked them until soft & caramelized.

They’re so perfectly sweet and sticky around the edges. I just can get enough of them. ♥️ 🍠

The network used five-year-old footage, mislabeled other dates and implied footage from elsewhere was in Portland.
