The world’s ugliest rose bush lives in my yard. Apparently the previous owners tried to get rid of it, but the plant was tenacious and became one giant thorny stalk that each year grows a single rose. This year, that rose sure was something.

I continue to note that the thing that really made the Romanian authorities go after the Tate brothers was that they held an American woman against her will.
I cannot imagine how that poor woman must be feeling, that her own country's administration is preferring her torturers rights to her own.
