Honest question: the work I do to produce English versions of Japanese games is often placed under the games preservation umbrella. I'm curious... why? While I help make games accessible for English audiences what I do is transformative, which to me seems anti-preservation in a lot of ways.

Life's calming down, so starting to get into the translation for this again. Everything apart from story is completed. Overall translation says ~55%, though there's a bit of fluff and unused text in that estimate
