Having now got home and done a proper edit on that tuuii; think that's one of the best shots I've taken. Coming up to a year with a decent camera (got it for xmas last year) and it's pretty gratifying to see how far I've come both in using the camera & software and in understanding light etc.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Have heard that govt likely to cut eligibility for Total Mobility - an essential lifeline for many disabled people who cannot drive or access public transportation. Please sign this petition to parliament calling for Increased funding for Total Mobility Scheme
Petitions are addressed to the House of Representatives and ask that the House do something about a policy or law, or put right a local or private concern.
