Nothing demostrates how smart phones and social media have absolutely decimated your attention span than trying to learn something new and wanting to tap out after five minutes. It takes actual real effort to focus and it's scary as hell.

Perhaps now people will stop wishcasting about the US military refusing illegal orders. That's not a thing that happens. The 100% compliance rate with using civilian boats for target practice was a bit of a tell.

Mostly enjoying Welcome to Derry but I just saw an FX shot (the Uncle Sam creature) that sent my AI alert antennae up and now I'm second guessing everything about the show. The title sequence gives off the same vibe but no one can confirm or deny so I was letting it go for now. But I dunno, man.
