She’s sloooowly deciding to trust. Likes to be near but not too near. Meds are easing the bladder infection-she seems more comfie and uses the litter box more normally. Still finding out which foods appeal to her and teaching where ok / not ok to scratch but she knows what no means so that’s helpful

Three years ago today was one of my favorite moments on my book tour- Shark in the Water (a surf metal band that plays songs from the perspective of sharks while dressed as sharks) played at one of my book tour stops! They called me up on stage and had everyone chant my name!

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

For every €1 provided through a Basic Income For Artists pilot program in Ireland, the government got €1.46 back. So it’s being made permanent.

Over and over we see it. It saves public money to provide public housing. And it makes public money to provide basic income.

We can’t afford to NOT do it.

I think Carney is much more focused on getting our economy, defence and security strengthened than about poll numbers. Which are still quite good anyway. And that’s a positive. I think we’ve had enough done by politicians thinking only of polls and soundbites and not of the good of the country.

Jeebuz fekkin crispies…been awhile since I’ve taken my vehicle in for more than routine maintenance..when did they start charging $250 just to do a diagnosis/estimate? I cld see a charge if a person wasn’t going to go ahead with repairs - but to still add it ON TOP of a pricey repair job? Crazy!😳🫩😮‍💨

in the before-times (pre #MCAS) I would make a mean homemade mushroom n quinoa burger patty, smothered with crispy maple bacon, caramelized red onion, avocado and a thick creamy mozzarella cheese sauce….stuffed between two slices of fresh sourdough.….So yeah, I hear ya on the veggie burger n bacon 😂
