Most NJ/NY parents hated the Uncle Floyd show but we loved it. And we loved Floyd Vivino, aka Uncle Floyd. The show featured fan art every day, but I was too scared to send in a drawing. Yrs later I drew Floyd for a Dr Demento album, got to meet him and tell him how much I revered him. RIP legend.

It was a wonderful event and I enjoyed it more as a fan than as someone who was part of the signing. I could have listened to Floyd and Drew Friedman talk old New York and New Jersey showbiz for days. Fun fact -- they were both sued by Joe Franklin! They both had fun stories about that.
