Trump's termination of federal grants for universities has jeopardized lifesaving research breakthroughs at Harvard Medical School — including treatments for cancer and developmental disorders.

His attacks on higher education will hurt us all.

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.

Wages of unionized workers are 13% higher than their nonunion counterparts.

But unions also set a higher pay standard that all workers enjoy.

In high-union-density states, median household income is $12,000 higher than in low-union-density states.

This is why unions are vital.

No but really, do not sleep on Teen Vogue. I’ve been reading since I was, well, a teen. They have great political reporting that doesn’t “both-sides” matters of literal human rights, and they do it in an accessible, easy to read way. Here are just a few recent stories.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Last October, the Federal Trade Commission finalized a “click-to-cancel” rule that would have required companies selling subscriptions to make canceling them as easy for consumers as it was to subscribe in the first place. And any company violating that rule could have faced civil penalties.
