As a born hater from Philly who was appalled at the thought of moving to the shiny shithole by the beach, I am all in on this place. Hollywood and Beverly Hills don't really exist to the people of this town, but that's all they sell on TV to us back east. LA is fucking weird in all the best ways.

Remember that the House Speaker does not need to be a member of the House, so even after Kevin McCarthy retires at the end of the year he can continue to not be elected Speaker.
