. I'm seeing a lot of "There's no legal basis for that" in an effort to dismiss concerns.
The problem is that a) Trump wants to do these things b) Isn't afraid to bend/break rules to and c) has a playbook to accomplish these sorts of things that has already worked.

It doesn’t comfort me to know that a big portion of the hateful comments on social media are bots and fake accounts. The fact that they’re there at such a large ratio makes actually people think it’s okay to say these things.
