Henny Halloween. 🐔🎃

Ink and gouache on Fabriano Medioevalis, approximately 95 × 64 mm.
No one asked, but I think Bok Choy is my favorite vegetable
I’m really tired of @golden.house.gov insistance that the other side of the aisle is the one acting in good faith. Jared, they have no intention of renewing those credits. This isn’t winning you any “swing” votes, Bub #MEPolitics
I don’t have some notable amount of followers, so I don’t expect a lot of folks to hear me. That said, if you’re making a political argument in bad faith, regardless of your politics, you’re hurting discourse and just making things worse.
A lot of folks mad at Mainers for not deciding yesterday who is going to win the primary months from now.
Same thing when folks complained when Mills entered (oh god, that was just last week). Let the primary sort it out.
I understand his logic, but I don't agree with. Any arguments made in bad faith by the republicans are going to be made in bad faith regardless if it's Platner or Mills. I could easily spitball some anti-Mills attacks that would also hurt other races using this logic. Let it play out.
I'm very stressed over 1. I hope you're right.

But, yeah, 2 is going to end up a no

October 23, 1958: The Smurfs first appear in the story "Johan and Pirlouit" by Belgium cartoonist Peyo.

They were known as Les Schtroumpfs.

I don’t know if there’s a more perfect illustration of the utter fucking nonsense that creative pollution by AI will produce than this choice to illustrate the power of Paramount’s new “localization” and “customization” technology by face-swapping Brad Pitt into the lead role of GET OUT

btw if you care about the senate race (from any direction) you should be worried about this. it will make voting here much harder.

if you're in maine sign up for a gotv canvass shift at saveabsentee.me/events/

or if you're out of state maine dems are running phonebanks www.mobilize.us/mainedems/
That seems like a really dishonest quote. Knowing if a tattoo is nazi symbolism =/= "I used to believe abhorrent things"

actually believing in things is good and sometimes it doesn't work out and that's ok too, you condescending prick
This is the thing. A bunch of groups representing young voters went all in with an endorsement for Platner without doing any due diligence. They’d never even heard of the guy a few months ago. These are the same folks who rage against older Democrats. Well, with age wisdom often comes too.
Like, I was aggressively wrong here. Loved the video. Thought he looked like a fucking champ. People who know him like him and are loud about it.

But now there’s new information and you adapt to it. Getting all pot committed to a guy you had never heard of three months ago is unhinged.
I desperately want to stop talking about Graham Platner today.

We shouldn’t know what senate primary candidates’ nipples look like in such detail
In fairness to Platner, I didn't know it was until yesterday. But I also don't have it tattooed on me. But I do have tattoos that I got when I was younger just because I though they looked cool. So I can grant some grace there. Some.
We'll get through this one way or the other, friend
I'm not as into the Fetterman thing as I should be if I'm going to be commenting on it, but I was under the impression that the turn he's had might have more to do with the stroke than anything else. That said, I do think Platner would end up looking and acting a lot like Golden atm. YMMV
I don't know. And what does that betrayal look like? Is it like Jared Golden supporting tariffs? Is like Janet Mills rejecting Pine Tree Power? Or is it a clinching vote on something like gay marriage or the like? I don't know. I really don't. Trust is a difficult thing.
I take anonymous sources as far as I can throw them (I'm weak), at least in those regards.
Exactly. I haven't shut the door and I don't have to make my mind up today or tomorrow. We'll see what happens.
