What a good question!

I'm very much a plot-forward writer on first draft. I find my characters kind of take care of themselves, whether their arc has to do with dealing with guilt or trying too hard or...

So the characters usually come after the plot for me, but it's worked out so far!

The thing about Tynan being born at the start of the book is that they have *zero* personality to start with. 😂 The most I can say they have is a default "desire to perform tasks in hope they will understand why it's good later"
