I'm not a @spectacletheater.com volunteer (unless you count my "work" in their early-Covid chat streams), but I am (slowly) working on LTRBXD lists, by year & what's in their Vimeo trailer archive (w/ links), of what's (kinda) played there

here's (part of) 2011: letterboxd.com/falsebinary/...

Here’s a Spotify Wrapped for ya:

If we had received 100,00 Spotify streams this year it would have netted us $300.

Buy your favorite band’s records.

For most of my life I’ve been saying “the perfect gift doesn’t exist.” “What a strange thing to believe,” people would say. “What’s the matter with you?” they also said a few times. But I never thought for a second that I might be weird and wrong. UNTIL I SAW THIS RING CAT THING

Culture work is like farming. If you only extract and don’t keep putting things back into the soil, one day you will find that everything you grow is a sad mockery of the good years. American studios are in a cultural dust bowl

There was an immediate effort to portray every accusation as “MeToo gone too far” but ofc the Depp fiasco pulled that into sharp focus. Ate shit in court until he found one that let his team litigate it on social media and it’s been the playbook ever since.

Our upcoming game HORSES was preemptively banned from Steam, with no path to appeal. The game will still launch next week on December 2nd and will be available on EGS, GOG, Humble, and Itch for $4.99. Here is a detailed FAQ covering what happened: horses.wtf/BannedFromSt...
